Noulieng and his wife Som moved to the United States in 1980 from their native country Laos. They soon started a family and now have three beautiful children. They first began their food career selling their dishes at the local farmers market in Brattleboro, Vermont. Authentic flavors and unique recipes are what helped create their niche. Noulieng and his family currently operate a successful food service and catering company called Taste of Thai in Brattleboro Vermont. They operate out of their customized food truck at the Exit 3 Mobil location off of I91. However, the beauty of having a food truck is that they are mobile and can drive to any location and the kitchen comes with them!
Taste of Thai specializes in Thai/Lao/Vietnamesse cuisine. Noulieng and Som first learned special cooking techniques and flavors from their native country Laos. More specifically, Noulieng and Som's parents passed down generations of recipes that were a staple in their home country. Stop on by and you will witness three generations cooking right before you!
Family means everything to Noulieng and his wife and all of the food is prepared with love. The food truck and catering company wouldn't survive without the help of Noulieng's family and everyone works together to ensure the integrity of the business. Come by have a taste and become part of the Taste of Thai Family.
